Los tres kaijueros
I’ve always been a fan of the classic Disney short, The Three Caballeros. A couple of years ago, I had an idea to mash them up with the nods to the mighty King Gidorah. As a result, Los Tres Kaijueros was born!
After sitting on the idea for a long time, I was motivated to pursue it again. I modeled and painted a few copies to debut at the IndieToyCon in August of 2025.
I followed that up by redesigning the sculpt for another show called Kaijufornia Vol. 2. The prints were easier to produce, and I had my good friend David Coffman paint several, which you can see some examples.
double abobo
I have been invited to every single iam8bit art show, and this year’s 20th, I wanted to make something special. I had done takes on more mainstream characters and wanted something a little bit out of the norm. Enter Abobo from the arcade game Double Dragon.
One of my favorite arcade games and Abobo, was ripe for me to take in a new direction. He has several versions of himself in the game and decided to merge two of them. I created a limited, signed, and numbered series of ten and one large painted one, seen here.
shin garmera
My childhood favorites, Garfield and Gamera, were mashed to create. SHIN GARMERA. I felt like I started hitting my stride with this sculpt after much of my designs prior were mostly low-poly in nature.
SHIN ALFZILLA
I was a huge Alf fan growing up, and I felt he would be the perfect foil to my Shin Garmera. So I created SHIN ALFZILLA. I love all the kaiju characters, and I can’t help to mash them all up!
ghost
The Ghost for ghostwrite was created from beginning to end in less than six months. From concept drawings all the way through to final 3d prototypes, I had my hand at completely designing this figure. ghostwrite is quickly becoming one of the premier art toy collectibles.
Meowrio
Meowrio was created from my love of Garfield and Mario of Super Mario Bros. I’ve made various products from stickers to 3d printed figures.
Matangoshine
The mashups never end. This was a mashup of Matango and Sunshine from the MUSCLE line. I leaned heavily into making a “cute” version of Matango while putting my own spin on how to incorporate Sunshine into the design. I ended up making a Sunshine being transormed into what you see before you.
Von Frankula
The idea here was to make a modular designed toy that kept the main body but you could insert a different head, arm and foot. Ultimately you could switch it out with either a mummy, wolf or swamp creature accessories.
alfzilla
My love of kaiju and old 80’s tv shows, Alfzilla was born! One of the largest pieces I had ever attempted measuring about 9’ tall.
